The company is built upon decades of experience across direct property investments, construction, development advisory, banking and funds management. It is focused on a diversified investment strategy across a range of asset classes in both a passive and active approach.

Government Office

Moonah Tree Capital has held a government office investment since 2013. The building provides critical services to the Victorian State Government. The building spans 4 levels across a NLA of 6,144 and includes a café, 118 carparks, electric car charges, 100kW of solar and end of trip facilities. The property has uninterrupted CBD views where it is positioned on a river promenade and adjacent to parklands. Through our hands on management approach and strong environmental focus we have improved the property from 4 to 5.5 NABERS. This property is now amongst the top 2% in its category for energy efficiency in the country.

Industrial Property Development

Moonah Tree Capital is currently developing a 9,020 sqm institutional grade industrial asset in the northern suburb of Direk, Adelaide. The 1.8 hectare site was purchased in December 2023 with construction commencing in May 2024 and to be completed May 2025.

Direk is a growing industrial park well connected to Port Adelaide and the Adelaide airport, via the recently completed Northern Connector.

Land
Subdivision

Prior to the company’s official establishment, the Thomas Family completed the first stage of a subdivision of an 80 hectare semi rural landholding, located within 35kms of the Melbourne CBD.

The first stage of the land development included the subdivision of three 2 hectare parcels, and was completed prior to the incorporation of the property within the Green Wedge Strategy of Melbourne.

Residential Property Development

Prior to the company’s official establishment in 2023, the Thomas Family has completed several residential townhouse developments in the north western suburbs of Melbourne, including Ascot Vale (pictured) and Strathmore.

The personal career experience across construction, quantity surveying and development consulting allows the company to dynamically adapt to changing industry trends.
